Thank you Trudi. Perhaps it was best I found out when I was younger instead of years of disappointments and trying. When I was married, in my 20s, we did seek alternative paths but we split up not long after and my next partner already had a son who I was privileged to be stepmum to for a good few years and my partner had already resounded himself to no more children before he met me and so I came to terms with it!
This is truly troubling and we are definitely living in evil times. That Kim Leadbeater even looks like a witch! Definitely being used to push an agenda and the fact she is allegedly Jo Cox’s sister softens her public image somewhat as a result.
A great piece Charlotte and especially so because of your personal experience. My wife and I have a very large family and have always been very much pro-life, and have opposed and lobbied against abortion and other pro-death legislation which has trickled down over the years. Yet this latest parliamentary vote is a particularly vile act that also disgusts people who are less rigorous than me about the wrongs of the abortion debate. People are actually waking up, although I fear there will be more death cult legislation passed before they are done.
It's sad, that those warm, loving, potential parents aren't able to have children, while others that are seemingly chain smoking, boozing and neglectful can knock out waifs and strays at the drop of a hat.
It’s beyond me why people continue to insist upon being identified and treated as creatures of statute, subject to the strictures of public legislation as if they were a public servant or a business/corporation …
If it weren’t for that voluntary misidentification, public legislation has no lawful jurisdiction over people’s private lives and affairs whatsoever … for it would amount an overreach of authority…
But as it says in the Bible “…my people perish for lack of knowledge …”
Hi Charlotte, I found your article touching and close to my own experience.
I was early in a long term "living in sin" relationship with an Australian, in year one of that a few months in she fell pregnant unplanned, I went with her to Sydney in 2001 to meet her dying father she was under 12 weeks into her pregnancy and as her parents were devout Catholic weekly mass goers she decided that as we were not married, then this baby would be totally against her family's beliefs, she had no wish to get married, so she booked into a clinic and ended my child's life.
Needless to say I was destroyed, would be the understatement of the century, she went against my wishes to give birth.
Ironically,as I write this experience, it is my daughter Millie's 20th birthday today.
On a happier note, you are the spit of your father, you both look very happy in that photo.
I feel saddened that you had to face a life of infertility at such a young age.
Most girls/ women just presume that they’ll have children one day and it’s taken for granted in most cases.
Now the abortion bill has passed, I fear the same will happen with the assisted suicide bill.
That Kim Leadbeater is an evil psychopath, as are all who gladly vote for these bills to pass.
She said that talking someone out of killing themselves is ‘coercion’.
She has no idea how that feels to be a mother, bereaved by suicide.
I’m almost certain that she’s never been in discussions with them either.
I worry what it also means for the 1961 suicide act and what changes will be made.
The whole thing is deeply distressing 😩💔

Agree Charlotte, I am shocked by this, apparently the final outcome could be an amendment in the House of Lords. 🙏.
This woman Tonia Antoniazzi MP, like Kim Leadbetter seem to come from nowhere to push horrific laws.
Tonia Antoniazzi actually talks about a moral imperative, you couldn't make this evil shit up.
Antoniazzi, or is that AntoNAZI? Is a disgusting specimen.
Satan does seem to have the upper hand right now👿👹. 🙏🏻for us now and always🙏🏻.
Ban murder

These digusting specimens that voted for it are anti Christians. Some women are very selfish, and what about the foetuses' right to life?
True, these new laws are open to abuse. It seems the very real downside does not matter.
